Lil Wayne Remixes Future’s “Sh!t”
After months without releasing any new music and his Carter V album still in limbo, Lil Wayne finally dropped a new freestyle along with an announcement that his Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape would be released shortly. Remixing Future’s Honest hit “Sh!t,” Lil Wayne returns with a high-pitched delivery and Autotuned verse on his latest offering and seems to make mention of his much-publicized rift with his label. “Did my time in Cash Money, time served and released,” he raps, “But this agent ain’t free, word, that’s the word on these streets / But that shit is old news, that shit is so yesterweek / I’m just focused, focused on my expertise.”
Eminem Grants Teen A Dying Wish
Last weekend, Eminem granted a terminally ill 17-year old his biggest wish of a meet-and-greet with his favorite rapper. Gage Garmo, who suffered from a rare form of bone cancer, was supported by friends, family, and Twitter users who spread the hashtag #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem and helped the wish come true.
