With news of a rift between Lil Wayne and Baby tearing apart the Young Money camp late in 2014, the prospects for the release of the New Orleans rapper’s Carter V are still at stake as the label looks ahead to 2015.

Offering up her own take on the divide, fellow Young Money artist Christina Milian chimed in when asked by the Hollywood Reporter about the situation on the red carpet for the recent premiere of the TV series Empire.

“It’s a little difficult,” she said. “I’m on the same record label. I’m on Young Money, so it’s a little difficult when it comes to business. I understand the circumstance for all of them. I think everyone’s trying to work it out and I wish the best. Honestly it’s been an empire that has been built between Baby and with Lil Wayne. You can only hope for the best and big things for the both of them, that they continue this grind that they have. They basically paved the way for people like myself having the opportunity to become successful. I pray it all works out. I know he prays the same thing, nothing but the best.”
