Eastern Conference Records has been a staple in underground hip-hop for some time now. The label has collaborated with the likes of Eminem, Skillz, Royce 5’9”, Copywrite and others. Now the label plans to release two highly anticipated albums – Juju Mob’s Black Candles and High and Mighty’s 12th Man.
High and Mighty’s 12th Man is another release from the emcee/DJ tandem. It will be released on May 31st and will be produced in it’s entirety once again by Mighty Mi. Guests include Sean Price, Tame One and Princess Superstar.
Pennsylvania’s own, Juju Mob, will release their debut, Black Candles, on May 17th. This album also features production by Mighty Mi. The group consists of Chief Kamachi, Charon Don and Reef The Lost Cause. Charon Don is a four-time winner of Pittsburgh’s battle of the beats. Chief Kamachi released his solo-debut Cult Status last year. Reef The Lost Cause is one of the nation’s top battle emcees and recently won the 2004 Rocksteady.
Be on the lookout for both of these releases this May.
