Days after Brooklyn, New York rapper Bobby Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew were arrested, GS9 member Rowdy Rebel has released a statement from jail.
According to XXLMag.com, the statement was released via a phone conversation between Rebel and his girlfriend.
The recorded portion of the phone conversation only lasts about 15 seconds with Rebel merely offering shout outs.

Along with Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel was arrested December 17 at New York City’s Quad City Studios.
Shmurda faces the following charges: conspiracy to commit murder, assault in the first degree, possession of weapons, intent to sell and possession of narcotics, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree on two counts.
XXLMag.com reports that Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and other GS9 members arrested at Quad City Studios will appear in court again on January 29, 2015.
