Jamie Foxx has become a mega star in the acting realm. But that doesn’t mean Jamie is going to stay away from his other love…the music. Music has consumed Jamie‘s life; from his Oscar winning performance in “Ray” to his guest spot on Kanye West and Twista‘s smash hit “Slow Jams.” It has been 11 years since Jamie dropped his less than accepted debut album Peep This but now he’s coming back strong with some of the biggest names in music.
“I just got through messing with Kanye West, I got a joint with 50, it’s crazy,” Foxx said to MTV this past Saturday. “It’s gonna be nuts. And we’re gonna get back to love music – young love music that old people can appreciate.”
The song with 50 is titled “Build You Up” while Foxx has been in the lab with everyone from Snoop all the way down to Tank for his next album. As of right now there is no final tracklisting and the working titles for the album have been either Ambidextrous or Southern Gentleman according to J Records.
