Forbes Magazine has unveiled its annual list of “The World’s Highest-Paid Musicians.”

Dr. Dre landed at #1 this year, largely due to the mega deal between Apple and his Beat Electronics imprint. Apple’s $3 billion purchase, helped the renowned Hip Hop producer rake in $620 million this year, before taxes.

Dre’s monumental figure is the highest amount by a musician ever. Beyoncé, who ranks second on the list made $115 million — $500 million less than the doctor.

The rankings were compiled by considering income from touring, recorded music, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other ventures.  Earnings were calculated from June 2013 to June 2014.

Earlier this year, Dre proclaimed to be Hip Hop’s first billionaire.  In a fuzzy visual released in May, the Dr. celebrates his unprecedented accomplishment, alongside Tyrese.

Forbes also ranked Dr. Dre first on this year’s “Hip Hop Cash Kings” list. But in April — before Apple’s acquisition — the publication placed Dre behind Diddy on its “Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artists” rankings.

Other notable artists that appeared on the diverse list include: Puff Daddy and Jay Z at #12 with $60 million each; Rihanna at #18 with $48 million; and Drake at #30 with $33 million.
