J. Cole Throwback Freestyle

With J. Cole’s new album recently leaked and officially scheduled to release next week, HipHopDX dropped off an old freestyle from 2006 to prep fans for the occasion. The track originally appeared on Cole’s debut mixtape The Come Up, the lead-up to his attention-grabbing release two years later The Warm Up.

Last night, J. Cole joined T.I., Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and Kid Ink at the Los Angeles radio station Power 106’s Cali Christmas celebration. Cole appeared alongside T.I. as one of the event’s headlining performers.

Lil Wayne Blasts Birdman, Wants Off Cash Money

Not long after Tyga made similar claims about the label, long-time Cash Money Records rapper Lil Wayne took to Twitter to air out his grievances about his album being delayed. “To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it,” Wayne Tweeted on Thursday (December 4).

“This is not my fault,” he added in another Tweet. “I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.”

Stephen Curry’s Wife Ayesha Remixes Drake’s “0 To 100”

When Drake released his “0 To 100” single in June many fans took note of the Steph Curry reference in the first verse. A few months later the Toronto rapper airballed at a college basketball warm-up and brought the “Steph Curry with the shot” brag into a different context.
