P. Diddy is expanding his television time with his latest business deal that will partner him with MTV for more than just “Making the Band”. In a joint venture between Bad Boy Entertainment and MTV, P. Diddy will oversee and executive produce several upcoming television projects including developing and possibly appearing on shows.
“It’s a big step, my first TV executive producer deal. It gives me a chance to create content but it also doesn’t limit me to do things outside”, P Diddy told Billboard. The idea to partner with MTV came after years of participating together in such things as the “Vote or Die” registration and the highly successfully “Making the Band” television show.
“We’ve been there for each other throughout the years. We’ve been like a family”. For P. Diddy, this is the first of many announcements that he plans to make this year and wants people to look out for a wireless announcement coming up soon. “Everything is creating a content empire”.
