Royce Da 5’9 and DJ Premier, also known by their group name of PRhyme, participated in a Q&A session via Twitter in conjunction with @OnlyHipHopFacts yesterday (November 23).

During the session, both Royce Da 5’9 and DJ Premier answered a variety of questions from fans.

Responding to a question asking who his Top 5 rappers of today are, Royce pointed to some of Hip Hop’s heavyweights. “Em Jay Wayne Nas and Push,” he said.

Royce Da 5’9 cited The Roots’ lyricist as his pick for the most underrated rapper of all time.

Included in Royce’s Mount Rushmore was Hip Hop pioneer, DJ Kool Herc.

Andre 3000 was Royce Da 5’9’s pick for the best artist to come from the South.

When asked where he would place Drake among today’s rappers, the Detroit lyricist pointed to the top.

Royce Da 5’9 also reveled which artist inspired him to get into rap.

King Los and Meek Mill were among those on Royce’s Top 5 rappers of Hip Hop’s new generation.

DJ Premier was also heavily involved over Twitter. First off, Premo revealed his favorite album of all time.

Elsewhere, DJ Premier addressed why the letter “r” is doubled in the rap group Gang Starr, in which he starred alongside the late emcee, Guru.

PRhyme’s self-titled album is scheduled for release on December 9 and is currently available for pre-order
