Eminem continued to make waves this week, both from the buzz of his upcoming compilation album as well as from his continually (and specifically) violent lyrics. Iggy Azalea followed Azealia Banks’ suit, calling out the emcee publicly for his personally derogatory lines on the track “Vegas.”
Elsewhere, Snoop Dogg co-opted some of Em’s “Detroit Vs. Everybody” buzz with an Instagram post that seemed to hint at a L.A. response track. The aftermath of a Migos rapper having his chain snatched while performing in DC also continued to play out on social media, this week serving up claims that a restraining order was enacted against a Migos affiliate involved in the incident.
Iggy Azalea Reacts To Eminem’s “Rape Whistle” Lyric

Iggy quickly took to Twitter to call Em’s continued antics about women “boring” and made a note that her younger brother being a fan of the Detroit rapper complicates the issue for her family.

Migos Affiliate Says A Restraining Order Was Enacted After Chain Snatching
After Quavo allegedly had his chain snatched during a performance in DC last week, a Migos affiliate by the name of Willie Band$ took to Instagram to show off that a restraining order had been enacted following the scuffle. Band$ was implicated in the original fight and was reportedly charged with aggravated assault according to VladTV.
Quavos reposted the video to his account before both posts were deleted.
