DJ Paul appears on Datsik’s “Get Smashed,” a song that premiered on HipHopDX today (November 20). Listen to it here.
The cut is slated to appear on Datsik’s Down 4 My Ninjas EP, which is slated for a November 25 release.
A Canadian producer-deejay who has collaborated with Diplo and remixed songs from Wu-Tang Clan and Lil Wayne, among others, Datsik says he enjoyed working with DJ Paul.
“It was really a pleasure to work with DJ Paul,” Datsik says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “It’s been really dope finally getting a chance to meet these rappers and have them be so cool and open to new ideas. I think fans will dig it because it’s crossing two different bridges all with a similar feel to the classic Datsik type of vibe that got me recognized in the start. DJ Paul is a super nice dude and I look forward to making more bangers with him in the future.”

Datsik is slated to go on tour in January, a trek that is set to kick off January 22 at the House Of Blues in Boston and conclude April 10 at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina.
