On the anniversary of the Notorious BIG’s death, 50 Cent and The Game decide to end the beef. Meeting at the Schomburg Center in Harlem, New York both 50 Cent and The Game stood together at a press conference and both made statements to the media about why they have decided to end their public beef.

“I’m almost ashamed to have participated in the things that went on the past couple of weeks,” Game said in a statement. “I’m here, I’m apologetic. On behalf of myself and 50, we’re making a statement that is a lot louder than just two voices. 50 and I are proving that real situations and real problems can be solved with real talk. This can also be seen as a big step for my organization, Black Wall Street, in terms of making a difference. Maybe we can help save some lives … the way rap music saved mine.”

Before giving away a combined $253,500 to the Boys Choir of Harlem, 50 Cent also made a statement to the crowd.
