It has been quite awhile since Bone Thugs-n-Harmony has made an impact on the music industry. It has been even longer since Layzie Bone has released a solo album (4 years to be exact). Now on May 31st, Layzie Bone will be releasing his follow up to 2001’s Thug By Nature titled It’s Not A Game on X-Ray Records.
Some of the guests appearing on the album include Snoop Dogg, Twista, WC and Krayzie Bone. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle and his hometown of Cleveland. Some of the highlights on the album include “Thug Nation” where Layzie and Krazie look to revisit some of that old glory they once shared as a Grammy award winning group.
“It’s a classic Layzie Bone and Krayzie Bone collaboration,” Layzie says in a press release. “That’s what makes it special. That’s my
dog. We were in the studio doing the song together and it was like we were 12 years old in the seventh grade again. We were on that vibe.”
