While the hip-hop world is still dumbfounded by the events that have transpired in the past week, many have been waiting for hip-hop’s most supercilious artist to speak out on the incidents that went down. On Thursday, 50 Cent appeared with Olivia on BET’s “106 & Park” to not only promote his new album, but to also address the controversy.

50 spoke on his recent dissfest, “Piggy Bank”, and how he is now ready to move on from the beef.

“A lot of things you hear out there is being said for shock value and not really as serious as people make it out to be,” he stated “The media gets it and they try to do what they can do with it to make money off of it and make it look as bad as possible. But hip-hop has always been competitive, and they should always look forward to us getting back and forth with words.”

He also added “Beefs don’t sell records, ‘In Da Clubs’ do”
