Waka Flocka Flame’s wife, Tammy Rivera, says that she and her husband have matching MCM backpacks and that he accidentally picked hers up and took it to the airport Friday (October 10), according to RumorFix.
“He thought he took everything out of the bag, but it still had my headphones and my gun,” Rivera says, according to the site.
Waka Flocka Flamewas apprehended at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after a loaded handgun was discovered in a bag of his during a security scan. The Georgia rapper was subsequently arrested for carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.

Rivera says the gun is registered, that she has a license to carry it and that she keeps it in her residence for protection.
Waka Flocka Flame’s mother, Debra Antney, says he has been released from police custody.
“It was the craziest day ever,” Rivera says.
