50 Cent may be hip-hop’s biggest megastar at the moment but he was not the first to claim the 50 Cent moniker. Now a DVD will tell the story of the original 50 Cent. Czar Entertainment presents Infamous Times, the creation of the music industry vets, Tone Boots, Griff, and manager extraordinaire Jimmy Henchman, aim to be an “explicit expose of gangsters, hoods and decadent frills of street life across America.” Infamous Times even boasts the press credentials of hip-hop writer Bonz Malone.

The DVD series titled The Infamous Times will premiere with The Original 50 Cent. The DVD uncovers the story of the first man to use the name, a street criminal who became well-known and whose persona was adopted by the rapper.

It will feature extensive appearances & interviews with rap stars 50 Cent, Eric B, M-1 from Dead Prez and The Game. It will also be hosted by VIBE personality and journalist Bonz Malone and narrated by urban legend, Branson.
