Paula Patton has filed for divorce from Robin Thicke, according to TMZ.

Patton, who reportedly wants joint legal and physical custody of their son, Julian, cites irreconcilable differences.

Thicke’s alleged infidelity is irrelevant because the filing took place in Los Angeles, according to the report.

The divorce, which is said to be “harmonious,” follows the couple’s separation, which reportedly began February 21.

Thicke wrote an album, Paulathat was released this year. During an interview with Hot 97 at the time of his album release, Thicke explained the project’s concept.

“The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you’re trying to figure it out in your head,” he said. “How am I going to move on and get through it all? We just weren’t happy together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize for, and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album’s about.”
