Chris Brown’s family and his girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, have contacted the singer’s therapist to voice their concerns regarding his alleged gang affiliation, according to TMZ.
Brown’s mother and Karrueche are reportedly the most vocal about their worries regarding this matter. They’ve reportedly told the therapist that they fear his alleged gang affiliation may harm his career and life.
Brown’s gang sign use has been addressed by Blood gang members. Some have said they have no issue with him throwing up gang signs.
The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly trying to stop Brown appearances in the city’s nightclubs because they fear violent acts follow the star and his entourage. Suge Knight was among several people were shot at a Chris Brown-hosted event recently and another recent Brown appearance ended in a fight where a person was stabbed.

Recently, Brown’s alleged gang affiliation was addressed by Tray Deee of Tha Eastsidaz.
“I feel it has to either be a psychological defect to where you don’t wanna enjoy your life and enjoy your wealth and you know, ride around on boats and pop bottles, just live a stress-free life as far as attracting unwanted attention and aggression upon yourself,” he said. “Why would you wanna be rich and start fighting people? It makes no sense to me. I see it as the peer-pressure aspect is that, ‘Is this what you really want for yourself? Or do you feel that this is the only way that you’ll be secure in certain areas?’ So are you buying into it for protection? That’s the only logical conclusion that I can come to. I can’t see somebody waking up one day [and saying], ‘Okay, the Bentley’s in the driveway. Couple mill in the bank. Let me go to the hood and get shot at. Let me go stand on the corner and get shot at so people could say, “Oh, man that’s a tough guy.”’ People gon’ say you stupid as—you already know. So, I don’t get it.”
