According to TMZ, actor Leonardo DiCaprio was recently videotaped rapping along to Busta Rhymes’ verse on A Tribe Called Quest’s 1991 record, “Scenario.”

Along with Jamie Foxx the actor was present at West Hollywood, California nightclub 1Oak for a party held in honor of promoter Richie Akiva’s birthday.

In an April 2008 issue of Interview magazine, DiCaprio declared A Tribe Called Quest one of his “favorite groups of all-time.” In that same issue of Interview the former Titanic star interviewed A Tribe Called Quest front-man Q-Tip.

And at the top of this year it was revealed that DiCaprio, Q-Tip, and actor Jonah Hill would soon team up to create a television show loosely based on the Native Tongues Movement.

Although DiCaprio did his own performing at Akiva’s birthday party at 1Oak, he recently recruited rappers Kanye West and 2 Chainz to perform at his birthday party late last year at New York City’s TAO Downtown.

2 Chainz, who also made a speech for DiCaprio during the party, sent the following message on Twitter following his performance:
