With the week kicked off by the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, this week’s Top 10 features a new Eminem single at the #1 spot. Released as the first song from the rapper’s upcoming album, the track features singer Sia and Eminem singing before his verses himself. After leaking over the weekend, Drake’s latest track, a leak from his own next album which seems to reference a fling with Rihanna, climbed to #2 shortly after. Rounding out the Top 3, Game released a posse cut in reaction to the shooting of unarmed Black teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri earlier this month.

The rest of the list includes new music from G-Unit, Childish Gambino, and more.

Eminem Releases Shady XV Single

With his next album marking the fifteenth release on Shady Records in as many years, Eminem released the first single from his upcoming Shady XV album earlier this week. “Guts Over Fear,” which features singer Sia, is already featured in trailers for the Denzel Washington movie The Equalizer and will also serve as the backdrop for the film’s end credits. The Emile-produced song features Em singing the bridge and rapping two verses between Sia’s hook.

According to Billboard, Shady XV will release as a two-CD compilation featuring greatest hits from the label as well as new material from a roster including Eminem himself, Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, and more.

Drake’s “Views From The 6” Single Leaks

The title track from Drake’s upcoming album suffered an unofficial leak last weekend. While the leaked track, “Views From The 6,” has not been confirmed by Young Money or the rapper himself, the song also features an added and likely unauthorized verse from Arizona rapper E Batt.

Leaking on Reddit and several other platforms, the track features a Drake verse that Perez Hilton and other websites speculate is about a stint in Paris with Rihanna. “You must remember wakin’ up in Paris with the blunt / You must remember fuckin’ me like anytime you want,” Drake raps on the song. “What made us wanna act like we were married for two weeks? / Now we back in California, we don’t even speak / That’s a no-no.” The verse coincides with the rapper and singer having spent time together in the French capital in February of this year.

“Everyone said we look good on paper,” Drake also says on the song, “You deserve that action / Plus you get more paper than I do, that shit attractive / Things that make me miss you, with Jen and Melissa.” The track even appears to feature a snippet of Rihanna’s voice upon the mention of “Melissa,” likely a reference to her model friend Melissa Forde.

Game Releases Posse Cut For Ferguson

On Wednesday, Game released a song in response to the shooting of Michael Brown called “Don’t Shoot.” The track features Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Diddy, Fabolous, Wale, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Curren$y, Problem, King Pharaoh, and TGT.

Game spoke about the motivation to make the song shortly after its release. “The issues in Ferguson really hit home for me and I feel compelled to use my musical platform to address this,” he said. “I am a Black man with kids of my own that I love more than anything and I cannot fathom a horrific tragedy like Michael Brown’s happening to them. This possibility has shaken me to my core. That is why this song must be made and why it was so easy for so many of my friends to come together and unite against the injustice. I managed to get everyone on board fairly easy, simply because we have the hearts. We care and are inclined to take a positive approach to resolving an issue that has existed since the beginning of mankind and that is RACISM and hatred towards one another as human beings.”
