Jim Jones dissed his former business partner Dame Dash in an Instagram post today (August 25).

Jones posted a photo of Dash with the following caption: “This nigga here is th real culture vulture n a thief fuck faggot lol back to my day.”

Dash, who worked with Jones on the Vampire Life brand and with the Diplomats, responded with an Instagram post, which is as follows:

“I’m not sure what exactly would make @jimjonescapodisrespect me publicly or any kind of way but if it’s over money or Buisness i really don’t think that’s the most productive way to deal with things…but I’m always open for discussion as long as we speak as men… I would never be ignorant enough to get on some tuff shit… That’s what’s killing our culture… I have nothing but love for you despite your disrespect…we are all kind of used to the way you react in the moment but it’s just not positive or productive for the culture….let’s lead by example…we can’t be fighting each other it makes us all look dumb harlem does stick together we never fight each other… Please don’t try to make a positive thing look negative….if you have a real issue we can talk about it…my daughter is on this Instagram…. And I love your family my nigga… Let’s hug it up…. We dont need to be fighting #harlemstickstogether.”

In June, Dash referred to record executive Lyor Cohen as a “culture vulture.”

“I think he’s a fake CEO,” Dame Dash said at the time. “And I think he’s fronting on my culture, but he can’t front on anybody else. And I’m calling him out publicly. And I want him to stop trying to rape my culture. Go make some money with some other people. Like stop having your agenda be Hip Hop…It was like they have people that their job is to create beef. So, that they can monetize it. Pause. But they don’t let their culture feel it. But they make money from it. And they can’t make any money or get any respect in their culture. That’s why they’re in our culture. Because the minute that they were allowed to be there, they would go. But they just can’t…Never had a beef with Jay. Always with Lyor and his whole crew. He’s the one that ruined Roc-A-Fella. Lyor Cohen.”

Earlier in June, Dash called executive Steve Stoute a “culture vulture.”

“I don’t like Steve Stoute,” Dame said at the time. “Nobody really likes him He’s a culture vulture. But it’s worse ‘cause he’s Black.”
