50 Cent, G-Unit Participate In ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Several Rap figures, including Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne and Drake, are participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, where people dump buckets of ice on their heads and/or donate money to ALS [amyotrophic lateral sclerosis] research. Each participant then nominates another person to complete the challenge.

Now, the members of G-Unit have joined in these fundraising and awareness efforts.

50 Cent appears in his ice bucket challenge video, sporting a white T-shirt and gold chain. The emcee nominates Ludacris to complete the challenge in his clip. Luda responded to this challenge by re-gramming the video with the following caption: “Ha! #nowthatsludicrous #aboutdamntime #alsicebucketchallenge.”

G-Unit’s Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck have also participated in the challenge. They poured buckets of ice on one another on a balcony in clips that appear on Young Buck’s Instagram page.

      1. Kidd Kidd could sell 200 million digital singles and still get no love from anybody. He sucks, and 50 knows it. That’s why the checks always bounce.

    1. You won’t see too many other rappers doing it with their jewels on because they don’t want the fans to see how fake it is when the water hits it.

    2. “The emcee nominates Ludacris to complete the challenge in his clip”

HHDX you guys made a big mixtake here, did you even watch 50’s video? He was already nominated by Ludacris 3 days ago hence Luda saying “#aboutdamntime”, 50 nominated Omari Hardwick from Power, Jake Gyllenhal and someone else I didn’t recognize.

    3. Watch the haters come out to hate on G-Unit raising awareness for ALS.

This shit is getting lame though, it’s like the new planking. White folks started it but black people will run it into the ground.

      1. Ross still hasnt gone platinum once though, and last year he earned as much as a white boy indie rapper, check that scoreboard.

      2. what math? last time i looked 50 is in international superstar, movie star, mogul and businessman who is top 5 on Forbes. Ross couldn’t even go gold last 2 albums with the biggest featrues from all the biggest names in the industry!

      3. @first Anonymous @Rozay O’Donnell

Get off my dick…even tho I can’t see it because of my belly fat.

      4. “Mastermind 360k > Animal Ambition 91k …..you do the math”

^ washed up troll using ancient math to hate on one man

whilst taking up for another who dropped an album in April and hasn’t reached gold by the washed up groupie troll’s comment

you need to find another internet schtick son you’re failing miserably. BTW AA was a mediocre mixtape

      5. 50 is a Diamond selling artist doing 100K max and Ross is a Gold selling artist doing 375K max. Last year 50 made annually what Mac Miller did while his “Platinum” peers rose to the top of the lists and maintained their Major label status.

      6. bruthadoodoo caught feelings again, hes in denial that mac miller and and rick ross tied for earnings with the drummer from the roots last year, not even top 20 on the forbes list like godfather 50 was. even tech n9ne makes more than ross.

    4. I just got paid $6784 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that’s cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers and made over $9k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do,,,,,

      1. Didn’t you hear Yayo when he said, “we doing the challenge and we still finna donate. It’s the unit” I’m guessing no, you just in here to try to talk shit!

    7. I wish Chief Keef and Lil Durk did the ALS challenge. But instead of ice water coming out of a bucket, it’s bullets coming out of a gun.

    8. “50 is a Diamond selling artist”

He sold 8 mill domestically. The rest was worldwide. Don’t sell a false story.
