Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic Remains In Top 20
Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic has sold 12,427 units this week to land in the #19 slot overall. In its 16th week overall, the project has experienced a rise in sales by three percent, going from 12,056 units last week to 12,427 copies sold this week. In all, Iggy’s sold 282,869 units of The New Classic. She is set to release a music video for “Black Widow” soon. “Black Widow” is Azalea’s Rita Ora-assisted single.
Trey Songz’s Trigga Lands At #21
Trey Songz’s Triggais #21 this week following last week’s #16 placement. In its six weeks, the album has sold 201,961 units. This week, Songz sold 10,545 copies, a 24 percent drop from last week’s 13,920 units. The album recently earned a 4 out of 5 X rating in its HipHopDX review. “Wild, yet well-delivered songs showcase Songz as a master of a now lyrically unrestrained mainstream R&B standard,” Marcus K. Ces Cru’s Codename: Ego Stripper Debuts At #40
Ces Cru’s Codename: Ego Stripper is #40 this week. This is the album’s debut week and it has sold 6,354 units. The album earned a 3.5 out of 5 X rating it its HipHopDX review. “Ces Cru is still a band with a witty-lyrics heavy approach, but overall Codename: Ego Stripper excels at putting the entire package together,” Kellan Miller writes for HipHopDX. The review goes on to call Codename: Ego Stripper an “impressive” release.
