A shooting reportedly took place outside of Compton Courthouse while N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton was being filmed, according to TMZ.

The shooters and their alleged targets are not part of the N.W.A film, according to the report.

Eyewitnesses say they saw people in one car flash gang signs at another passing vehicle. The shooting under investigation and law enforcement officials have not declared it a gang-related incident.

A civilian who was near the crew was reportedly wounded in the shooting, but the person survived the shot.

Filming is set to resume in a different part of Compton this week.

While filming is slated to go on, cast and crew members are concerned about their safety following the shooting, TMZ reports.

Ice Cube, Gary F. Gray and Dr. Dre are among the film’s leaders behind the scenes. Meanwhile, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins are among the actors in the upcoming motion picture.
