Childish Gambino called out several rappers by name during a performance in Sydney, Australia yesterday (July 27).
“I’m the best rapper, definitely Top 5,” Gambino rapped during the performance. “If these other rappers think they’re [inaudible], they’re fuckin’ not alive / I’ll cut their head off, that’s every rapper living / That’s Kendrick [Lamar], that’s Drake / That’s ScHoolboy [Q], that’s everyone / I don’t give a fuck. I’ll fucking kill you niggas / I’ll fucking kill you niggas.”
That wasn’t all. During the set, Gambino also added the following regarding Drake.

“This nigga think he Drake,” he rhymed. “Nah, I ain’t Drake / I sing better / I do better / My shit’s wetter.”
Last year, Childish Gambino said Drake’s “Trophies” beat was originally meant for his “3005” track. “Hit-Boy, he heard me sing that hook,” Gambino said at the time. “That hook [‘3005’] was actually supposed to be on Drake’s ‘Trophies’ beat. I was like, ‘I don’t know if it feels right’ and then he [Hit-Boy] gave it to Drake and Drake made it awesome…Everybody’s a winner in that one. We made a different song.”
Drake and Gambino were also rumored to be dating Jhene Aiko over the past year.
