Returning to the hip-hop scene with their sixth album, legendary rap group Do or Die is ready to take their place among the top of the charts. With their new self titled album, Belo, N.A.R.D and A.K. feel that the timing is perfect to make a comeback alongside fellow successful Chicago artists Kanye West, Twista, R. Kelly and NO I.D. “We felt that it’s a Do or Die situation right now,” Belo said. “So we’ve got to really do it or die. And we ain’t here to die. We’re making music for the streets. People can look up each and every one of our files and it’s going to read street on it.”

Kanye West, DJ Quik, Scott Storch, N.O. JOE and The Legendary Traxster handled most of the production for the new album creating such hits as “Latest Greatest” and “Pimp Like This”. “It’s feel-good music,” A.K. says of the song produced by Kanye West. “Sometimes you gotta give people what they’re not expecting and that’s what we want to do.” “We’re both from Chicago, so we both know the vibe and the style,” Belo adds. “We’ve been around for a long time and Kanye respects us and we respect what he’s accomplished. By him being hot right now and what we’re bringing to the table, it’s just going to be another nuclear explosive song. I know it’s going to blow”. The self-titled album “Do or Die” hits stores nationwide February 1st.
