Flying Lotus is slated to release his You’re Dead album October 7 via Warp.

The producer is also slated to go on tour in October and November.

He will also be performing in San Diego; Mexico City; Somerset, Wisconsin; and Los Angeles in July and August.

He features Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, Captain Murphy, Snoop Dogg, Angel Deradoorian, Thundercat and Niki Randa on the collection.

“The album isn’t about the end,” Flying Lotus says in a press release. “It’s really the beginning. It’s a celebration of the next experience. It’s the transition and the confusion. It’s not, ‘Hey you’re dead.’ It’s, ‘Hey you’re dead.’”

You’re Dead is scheduled to be released on CD, double gatefold vinyl, digital and a special addition 4 x 180g vinyl box set, which includes ‘You’re Dead! Instrumentals’ on an initial pressing of 2,000 copies.
