Following an alleged encounter between rappers Trick Daddy and Lil Wayne at a strip club in Miami, Florida last year, the relationship between the two artists has remained unclear. But during a newly-published interview with Vlad TV, Trick Daddy spoke on the standing of his relationship with Weezy.

According to the Miami wordsmith, there was “no situation” with Lil Wayne. He says the Young Money rapper instead “got in his feelings” and spoke ill of the Miami Heat and made other comments that needed to be addressed.

“Me and Lil Wayne didn’t have no situation,” Trick Daddy said during an interview with Vlad TV. “Lil Wayne had a situation with something he said about my city and something he said about Miami Heat. Me and Lil Wayne didn’t have a situation. We never had a situation. Lil Wayne got in his feelings—Where everybody get in they feelings. And he said some things. And got took out of context. And then when he went on he did a show and made other statements about ‘Fuck Miami Heat’ and ‘I fucked this nigga old lady’ and this and that. It was just a situation that had to be addressed…Hostile conversations usually turn into violent confrontations. We never had that. So, it’s never a problem. You know what I’m saying. The media can take it out of proportion and you know, that’s the new thing now. Drama.”

As far as their alleged encounter at King Of Diamonds, Trick Daddy says neither he nor Lil Wayne were involved in the altercation that went down at the strip club.

“It wasn’t me nor was it Lil Wayne…It be them other niggas,” he said. “Them kiss-ass-grab-ass-me-me-too ass niggas always be with the fuck shit. They start a lot of drama. And a lot of niggas get caught up in it, but as far as the cigarette and the drink and all that—As far as that, I didn’t see it. So, when it comes to that I plead the fifth.”

During NBA All-Star Weekend last year, Lil Wayne went on a rant aimed at the Miami Heat and several of the team’s players, which riled up a number of Miami artists including Trick Daddy and Luther “Luke” Campbell.
