Atlantic recording artists Fabolous, T.I., and Trick Daddy – all members of the label’s current “Joint Chiefs” campaign – have each earned RIAA gold certifications for their latest releases. Trick Daddy’s “THUG MATRIMONY: MARRIED TO THE STREETS”Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic was the first of the three to hit stores, on October 26, 2004, followed by Fabolous’ “REAL TALK”Desert Storm/Atlantic on November 9, and T.I.’s “URBAN LEGEND”Grand Hustle/Atlantic on November 30. All three albums debuted in the top ten on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Trick Daddy’s “THUG MATRIMONY: MARRIED TO THE STREETS” debuted at #2 on both The Billboard 200 and the magazine’s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” charts. The Miami rapper’s sixth collection, it features the top ten pop and urban radio smash, “Let’s Go.” The album’s second single, the country-fried “Sugar (Gimme Some)” featuring Ludacris, Lil’ Kim and Cee-Lo, is the #1 most-added track at urban radio this week.

Fabolous’ “REAL TALK” also debuted in the #2 spot on Billboard‘s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” list, while entering The Billboard 200 at #6. The Brooklyn-based rap superstar’s third full-length collection features the top five-charting first single, “Breathe.” The set has just yielded its second radio track, “Baby” featuring Mike Shorey, which has already bulleted into the top 30 at urban radio.

T.I.’s “URBAN LEGEND,” his second label outing, made an explosive #1 debut on Billboard‘s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart, with a #7 premiere on The Billboard 200. The album includes the smash single, “Bring Em Out,” which has hit the top ten at urban radio and is bulleted in the top 15 at CHR/Rhythmic outlets. Next month, Atlantic will release a special “Chopped & Screwed” version of “URBAN LEGEND.”

In addition to the latest albums from Fabolous, T.I., and Trick Daddy, the “Joint Chiefs” include the double Grammy-nominated Twista – whose #1-charting, double platinum “KAMIKAZE” was re-issued in November with new bonus materal, and Fat Joe, whose new Atlantic album, “THINGS OF THAT NATURE,” is slated for release in April.
