Jay Z once rapped about making the song cry because he couldn’t see tears fall from his eyes on “Song Cry,” but Jeezy says tears formed when Jay Z rapped on Seen It All’s title track.

“[Jay] was like, ‘Yo, Jeezy, when I was writing the verse, I had tears in my eyes, man,’ because it took him so far back to Marcy,” Jeezy says in an interview with MTV. “It’s the same thing with me. Every bar in that song was real. I put my hand on the Bible. I told myself when I wrote that record. Everything in this song gotta be true to me…He did the same thing.”

Jeezy and Jay have formed a bond over the years.

“Jay my dude,” Jeezy says. “I’ll never have nothing bad to say about Jay. He’s such a stand-up dude.”

Jeezy also says Jay Z sent his verse back within 30-40 minutes.
