With the ink still wet on the contract, Jay-Z is making big changes at Def Jam already. Jigga has signed Foxy Brown to the Def Jam label. Foxy who has already said she’s been in the studio working on her new album, has been speaking on a reunion of sorts with Jay-Z after appearing with him at his concert in Madison Square last year. Brown is said to be heavy in the process of working on her new album “Black Roses” with guest appearances from Luther Vandross, Dido and Barrington Levy.

Foxy’s last album “Broken Silence” was released on the Def Jam label but her last finished studio album “Ill Nana 2: The Fever” was never released and that caused problems for Foxy and the former label heads. Other albums in the works at Def Jam are from Memphis Bleek, 112, and Mariah Carey’s new album “The Emancipation of Mimi” due in stores in March.
