Ma$e says that his next single, “Billboard,” will feature Rick Ross and Kanye West.

“We got an album in the works,” Ma$e says during an interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 regarding his Now We Even album. “It should be out the first week in October. Gonna have ‘Ye on it, Ross, Puff, Dipset… it’s going to be really special.”

When asked to compare this album to his previous work, Ma$e said that Harlem World is his only real album.

“I really only look at one album I ever really did,” he says. “The rest of them are things I could do with all my stipulations.”

The forthcoming Now We Even project will be influenced by his early freestyles and songs, Ma$e said in a series of Tweets announcing his new album in October. The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death, Tupac’s All Eyez On Me and Jay Z’s Reasonable Doubt may all be a part of that influence.

Ma$e’s “Nothing” single featuring Eric Bellinger is out now and has an accompanying video in the works.
