From music to movies Outkast seems to have no limit as they find a home for their record label. Big Boi and Andre 3000 signed a distribution deal for their company, the Purple Label to Virgin Records. The Purple Label’s first two signed artists are Sleepy Brown and Bubba Sparxxx (who used to call Interscope Records home). Outkast as a group are still signed to the Arista label and plan to release at least two new albums and a movie for HBO next year. “You’re going to be surprised, because you’ll be like ‘How did they do it again, musically?’ I can’t really describe it, but whenever I go into one of their new projects and hear the music, I find myself going, ‘Wow, it’s different, but it’s still a hit”, their manager Kenneth Williams told MTV.

The 700-square-foot recording studio in Ferndale, Detroit is being auctioned off on Ebay this week by its owner A.J. Abdullah who worked with Eminem on the album. Eminem worked in the studio from 1997 to the album’s release in 1999.
