Following news that Nicki Minaj would release her first The Pink Print single this upcoming Wednesday (May 21), the Cash Money emcee took the red carpet at last night’s Billboard Music Awards as an opportunity to announce the song’s title.
“It comes out on Wednesday,” she said, wearing a black dress. “It’s called ‘Pills N Potions’ and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Asked about what fans can expect from the single’s sound, Minaj listed some vague descriptions of the song.

“It sounds like urgency,” she said. “It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like, ‘Aah.’”
While Minaj didn’t offer up any firm dates, she did confirm that The Pink Print “will be out before 2015.”
Last night (May 18), Nicki Minaj introduced singer Lorde’s performance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
