After seven years of working hard on the mixtape market, Clinton Sparks inks a deal with KOCH Records for his debut full length album. Get Familiar Vol. 1 will be Sparks first solo journey but nothing that he is not up to. The DJ/Producer has accomplished many feats leading up to this including establishing mix shows in four markets: Boston, Hartford, North Carolina and Baltimore; becoming a force in another 40 markets through the syndicated SupeRadio network; and gained a foothold in the emerging satellite market with his worldwide program as host & DJ on Eminem’s new Sirius radio station, Shade 45
I’ve worked so hard for so many years to get the people familiar, and now with this album I will have the perfect opportunity to have the world “Get Familiar” with Clinton Sparks the Producer/DJ,” stated Sparks. “I want my album to be the complete combination of DJing, MCing & Producing, a real entertaining hip-hop album, there’s gonna be a lot of surprises.”
In the meantime he will drop “Maybe You Been Brainwashed Too,” the seamlessly mixed 21- song self-produced pre-album mixtape powered by exclusive tracks from Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Lil’ Flip, Joe Buddens, Mobb Deep and Cassidy.
