Pharrell Has More Than 4.7 Million Reasons To Be “Happy”
Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” is the #1 song on the chart this week. In its twenty-third week, the Virginia Beach, Virginia singer-producer’s selection sold 207,641 copies, a 24 percent decrease from last week’s 274,266 units sold.
Overall, Williams’ cut has sold 4,701,495 units.

“Happy” appeared on last year’s Despicable Me 2 soundtrack and is also the rapper-producer-singer’s lead single from his G I R L album, which is available for streaming now.
The biggest gain on this week’s chat comes from Happy, whose “Happy (Pharrell Cover)” enjoyed a 280 percent sales spike this week. The cut sold 4,856 copies this week, up from 1,279 units last week. “Happy (Pharrell Cover)” is the No. 100 single on the R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart this week.
Future’s “Never Satisfied” Makes Its Entrance
Future’s “Never Satisfied” single entered the R&B/Hip Hop chart at #31 this week. The song is included on the Atlanta singer-rapper-producer’s Honest album and also features Drake. It sold 13,221 units this week.

2Virgins’ “Buckwild” Drops 39%
2Virgins’ “Buckwild” single endured the biggest drop on the R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart this week. The cut, which features Taylor Caniff, experienced a 39 percent dip, moving 6,139 units this week compared to 10,116 last week.
