This week yet another 50 CentAnimal Ambition single topped the list after “Hustler” claimed the spot last week. A Jay Electronica single from March climbs back up the list as 2014 finds the emcee maintaining an uncharacteristic release of songs. On Monday Jimmy Fallon featured another chopped up Brian Williams segment turning the news anchors television appearances into a rendition of Snoop Dogg’s famous hit “Gin and Juice.”

The rest of the list includes new music from Mac Miller, visuals to accompany a ScHoolboy QOxymoron cut, and media appearances from Future as he promotes his latest album.

50 Cent Enlists Styles P, Prodigy, & Kidd Kidd For Animal Ambition Single

With his drawn-out release schedule for Animal Ambition still running, 50 Cent returned to the top of the list this week with his feature-heavy “Chase The Paper” single. With appearances from a single member each of the LOX and Mobb Deep featuring alongside fellow G-Unit emcee Kidd Kidd, 50’s “Chase The Paper” single got the visual treatment this week. With cameos from all the featured rappers, the video for “Chase The Paper” gets a backdrop full of almost every type of street vehicle imaginable.

Jay Electronica Returns With “Better In Tune With The Infinite”

Released in March, Jay Electronica’s “Better In Tune With The Infinite” climbed back up the list this week with it’s single verse format and feature from R&B singer LaTonya Givens. Originally released following his time at SXSW, the song features a sampled introduction from  former Nation Of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad as well as a clip from The Wizard of Oz. “Better In Tune With The Infinite” was apparently plucked from Electronica’s Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn), a tracklist teased in 2012 though never realized.

Jimmy Fallon Features Brian Williams “Gin and Juice” Mashup

After similar examples finding the news host’s televised materials mashed into Hip Hop classics like “Regulate” and “Rapper’s Delight” previously, earlier this week Jimmy Fallon featured a new segment of the host “performing” “Gin and Juice” on his Late Night show. Complete with an instrumental backing, the segment jumps from clip to clip to build the Snoop Dogg hit in its entirety. Released on Monday, the video has already amassed more than 7 million hits on Youtube.
