Frank Ocean, who is working on his latest project, says he might not make it to Coachella this year.
“I’M OPENING UP FOR OUTKAST THIS SUMMER AT PEMBERTON SO I MIGHT SKIP ON COACHELLA TO STAY IN THE GROOVE AND FINISH THIS BITCH… I FEEL LIKE THEY’RE FINNA WILD OUT THO. FUCK IT.. BRING THE HELICOPTER OUT,” Frank Ocean said in a recent Tumblr post.
Frank Ocean has been working on his sophomore album, a release he spoke with MTV about last year.
“When I was making the first [album] there were a group of artists that I listened to, just for inspiration and to absorb the energies,” he said at the time. “It was a lot of Stevie Wonder, and this time it’s a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we’ll see how it trickles into the music and the final product. I can’t say much other than that.”
OutKast is scheduled to perform at Coachella, which is set to kick off today (April 11) with Week 1 of its event. OutKast is also slated to perform in more than 40 concerts throughout the year.
