After producing records for everyone from Twista, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys and selling millions with his debut album “The College Dropout”, Kanye West is looking to create new dreams.

Kanye has created his own record label titled Getting Out Our Dreams in conjunction with the Sony Music Label Group US. Kanye is still signed to Roc-A-Fella Records/Def Jam but also signed his own separate production deal with Sony. The first artist to be released on the label will be John Legend who’s first single “Used to Love You” is already climbing the charts. The album “Get Lifted” will be in stores in December.

Other artists on the label will be GLC and Consequence, both of which appeared on Kanye’s album. Kanye West is nominated for three different categories at this year’s American Music Awards, which will be broadcasted on ABC on November 14th. Nominations are in the categories of “Favorite rap/hip-hop male artist”, “Favorite Album” and “Favorite New Artist”.

The “College Dropout” has sold over two million copies.
