The Roots, Snoop Dogg, A$AP Ferg and Action Bronson are among the artists set to perform at this year’s seventh-annual Roots Picnic, which is scheduled to take place at Festival Piers at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia Saturday May 31, 2014.
“We are excited about the line-up we were able to put together this year,” Roots Picnic producer Shawn Gee says in a statement to Billboard. “The Picnic is one of the highlights of the year for us and its a great way to start off the summer…Our idea was always to present an eclectic mix of talent that reflects the diversity that exists in fans music preferences. Over the past six years, we’ve built the brand with that goal in mind and we feel we’ve accomplished that this year. It’s going to be a fun event.”
Tickets for Roots Picnic are set to go on sale Friday, March 7th at 12pm EST.
