Kid Cudiâs first week sales projections are in for the rapper-singerâs most recent album, SATELLITE FLIGHT: The journey to Mother Moon.
SATELLITE FLIGHT, a surprise release from Kid Cudi,is expected to sell approximately 90,000 units in its first week, according to Billboard. It is expected to be the weekâs second-highest charting album, falling behind ScHoolboy Qâs Oxymoron.
Cudiâs FLIGHT is only available on iTunes, as the project was released exclusively through this retailer as a surprise Tuesday (February 25). Cudiâs FLIGHT release is reminiscent of Beyonceâs rollout for the singerâs self-titled 2013 album, which was also only available through iTunes.

If Cudi sells 90,000 units of SATELLITEÂ FLIGHT, the albumâs first week sales figure falls far below his previous album, Indicudâs first week total. Indicud, released in 2013, sold approximately 136,000 units in its first week.Â
SATELLITE FLIGHT: The journey to Mother Moon was announced via Twitter, when Cudi shared the following link to the album.Â
