Jeffrey Hubbard, who was accused of killing Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover in 2012, has been found guilty in the case, according to TMZ

“Hubbard was convicted on five counts, including homicide by vessel, reckless operation and unlawful operation of a personal watercraft,” TMZ said in its report.

Hubbard was accused of running over the 11-year-old with a jet ski on a lake in Georgia, according to the report. Glover, who is the son of Usher’s former wife Tameka Foster, reportedly suffered brain injuries in the incident. He had been on vacation with his father, Ryan Glover, when the incident took place, according to the publication.

In July 2012, HipHopDX reported that Kile Glover was taken off life support by Foster.

“We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time,” the family said in a statement to CNN, as per the July 2012 report. “We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”
