50 Cent made headlines today (February 20) when he confirmed his departure from Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. Along with this news, 50 Cent has announced the June 3 release date for Animal Ambition.
The album is scheduled to be available for pre-orders March 18, according to MTV. Fans are set to receive two songs with a pre-order purchase.
Animal Ambition is the first album 50 Cent is scheduled to release through a new agreement with Caroline/Capitol/UMG. Caroline has recently distributed albums by Korn and E-40, according to Associated Press.
In January, 50 Cent spoke about Animal Ambition.

“I’m so anxious to put out material,” he said at the time. “It took me so long to get the business portion of music straight, because I had went through an auditing process because it was the last record required for Interscope Records. And now, I got Animal Ambition, I was inspired to write this. It really has to be current. If it’s not like right now, what I feel is like the hottest thing, I know it’s done right, but it’s not necessarily what I should be doing right now.”
