Percy “Master P” Miller will not be denied in his attempt to play basketball for the NBA one day and has signed with the ABA’s Long Beach Jam. Last year he played with the Las Vegas Rattlers and went through extensive training in the off-season in order to keep his hopes alive of finally being added to an NBA roster.
Before becoming a full time hip-hop mogul, Master P first love came in the form of basketball. He went to the University of Houston on a full scholarship but had to put his dreams on hold after suffering a pre-season knee injury. But since then the rest has been history. He will play point guard for his new team
“In addition to Master P‘s musical talents and widespread popularity, he brings considerable floor general skills to our team,” Jam President Steve Chase said.
