Los Angeles native Too $hort announced he’s coming with a new project, but it’s with a twist–the album will be EDM-based.
The release, an 11 track LP entitled Weird Science, is slated for drop via the San Francisco imprint MalLabel Music. According to a recent press release, Weird Science will be released March 25 and features one original track and 10 remixes featuring rapper Oh Blimey.
The two will trade verses over EDM production by remixers including Dirt Monkey and Omega, Psymbionic and Wolf-e-Wolf, Samples, AHAB, S.P.E.C.T.R.E, El Diablo, Timmy Tutone, Skulltrane, Smash & Grab, Trevor Kelly and Mochipet, whose beats range from Trap, Dubstep, Future Bass, Juke, House, and Experimental.
Along with the announcement comes the release of the title track for the album. “Weird Science” is produced by Bay Area’s El Diablo.
