Nas has announced the finalists for Thief’s Theme – a competition Sony had opened for UK rappers a couple of months ago. The contest drew 2,000 entries across Great Britain, for which rappers were to put down their own verse to Nas’ single Thief’s Theme. The winner will be selected by God’s Son himself and brought to London courtesy of Sony Music to record their verse in a recording studio.
The eight finalists are Trebor, TB, Lavish, Baby Blue, Arcane, Yungun, Rising Sun and Lowkey. The winner will be announced within the next few weeks.
The winner’s prize will be a guaranteed chance of a lifetime- dropping a verse on Nas’ upcoming Street’s Disciple album, which is set to be released on November 29th.
