This week, DMX made headlines when it was announced that he would participate in a boxing match against George Zimmerman. In other news, 50 Cent made waves when he made an Instagram post featuring Jadakiss and Styles P and Kendrick Lamar celebrated a verse off DMX’s 1998 selection, “Slippin’.” 

DMX & George Zimmerman Boxing Match Confirmed

Promoter Damon Feldman confirmed that DMX, 43, was scheduled to fight against George Zimmerman, 30, in a boxing match, according to TMZWhile this news was later denied by DMX, the boxing match is still a possibility. X initially said he was willing to fight Zimmerman. 

“I am going to beat the living fuck out him,” DMX said of Zimmerman, who agreed to a boxing match against a celebrity. “I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I fuck him right up…Once I am done with him, I am going to whip my dick out and piss on him…right in his muthafckin’ face…Zimmerman is a piece of shit and that’s what he needs to drink.”

More recently, DMX has said that he is still thinking about fighting Zimmerman. 

“I was challenged,” DMX said. “I still haven’t decided if I was really going to do it. But if I did do it, whatever money that was supposed to go to him would have to go to charity…[I] will gladly be the [expletive] out of him.”

50 Cent Pictured In Studio With Jadakiss And Styles P; Jadakiss Arrested Hours Later

50 CentJadakiss and Styles P were photographed in a studio January 31. The picture was posted on 50 Cent’s Instagram account. 

“Animal Ambition on the way,” 50 said in his post’s caption. “It’s getting ready to get CRAZY#smsaudio.”

Hours after the 50 Cent post, Jadakiss, French Montana and Chinx Drugz were reportedly arrested. The three were later released. Upon his release, Jadakiss tweeted: “Out of all the things in the world to wish on somebody, JAIL isn’t one if them… #stop sweating.”

Kendrick Lamar Says DMX Has One Of His Favorite Verses Of All Time

Kendrick Lamar recently spoke about one of his favorite verses of all time.

“too many to think of,” Lamar said in a Facebook Q&A. “first one that comes to mind is dmx “im slippin’…first verse.”

“Slippin’,” a selection off DMX’s Flesh Of My Flesh Blood Of My Blood album, was released in 1998.
