Big Boi has confirmed that he is working on a solo project.

During a recent interview with Revolt, Big Boi spoke about 2014, a year that is set to feature several OutKast performances. Outside of this, Big Boi was asked about working with Killer Mike and he discussed his plans for new music.  

“Anything can happen,” Big Boi said. “We’ve got a couple new jams we recorded in the studio recently, so look out for that new Big Boi solo record coming too. So, you know, we’re just staying working, man.”

Big Boi also said that his next album has a “surprise” album title in the clip. 

Big has released several solo albums, including 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty and Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumorswhich was released in 2012. 

OutKast is slated to perform more than 40 festival dates this year, including Coachella and The Governors Ball.
