Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Diddy, J. Cole and Busta Rhymes are among several rappers slated to perform at Super Bowl weekend events.
J. Cole is slated to perform as part of VH1’s Super Bowl Blitz event, which is also scheduled to include Janelle Monae, among others. Drake and Diddy are set to perform at Time Warner Cable Studios in Manhattan, New York for Time Warner Cable’s pre-game parties.
Kendrick Lamar is slated to perform at the ESPN Super Bowl Party at Pier 36 in Manhattan, New York. Robin Thicke joins him on that line-up. The Roots are set to join Run-DMC, Busta Rhymes and others as part of Bud Light Hotel’s concert showcase bill, which is slated to take place at Bud Light Hotel Amphitheater in Manhattan, New York.
The main event, Super Bowl XLVIII’s halftime show is slated to include Bruno Mars as its halftime show star, a job that Beyoncehandled last year.

UPDATE: Jay Z is set to headline DirecTV’s Super Bowl event, Super Sunday Night. The invite-only party is now slated to feature a performance by Jay, according to Billboard. The event, scheduled to be held at Pier 40 in New York, is slated to be co-hosted by AXS TV and Eli Manning.
