Verbal Kent’s Sound Of The Weapon is scheduled to be released February 18 by Mello Music Group. The 14-cut collection features 13 cuts produced by Khrysis, as well as a bonus 9th Wonder remix of “Sound Of The Weapon.”
Verbal Kent is a member of Ugly Heroes, a group whose other members are Detroit’s Red Pill and Apollo Brown. The trio released its self-titled album last year.
Khrysis is a member of 9th Wonder’s Soul Council and has produced material for Little Brother, Cormega and Evidence, among others.
